Hello, we are Elisabeth and Christian – the team behind NIRMI!
During a trip with our two children through the highlands of Mexico, we were very lucky to meet indigenous women weavers. With incredible passion and centuries-old techniques, they create fabrics of impressive beauty - dyed, woven and embroidered, all by hand and without electricity nor chemicals.
These women preserve a unique knowledge that we admire and want to support. You can customize your NIRMI baby carrier with the exceptional fabrics of these artisans. Not only will you be carrying your baby close to you, but you will also be helping to strengthen equality and enable financial independence.
