Hello, we are Elisabeth and Christian - the team behind NIRMI!
While travelling with our two children through the highlands of Mexico, we had the great fortune to meet indigenous weavers. With incredible passion and centuries-old techniques, they create fabrics of impressive beauty - dyed, woven and embroidered, all by hand and without electricity.these women preserve a unique knowledge that we want to admire and support. You can personalise your NIRMI baby carrier with the extraordinary fabrics created by these craftswomen. Not only are you carrying your baby close to you, but you are also helping to strengthen equality and enable financial independence. Together we can preserve tradition, promote change and create something beautiful in the process - for you, your baby and a fairer world.
